What is Cursillo?

Cursillo is a work of the Catholic Church. It seeks to bring others closer to Christ. Cursillo (pronounced KER SEE O) is a three-day learning and sharing experience of what it truly means to live as a Christian. The word“Cursillo”is Spanish and means“a short course”.If you are looking for more in your faith life; if you want to know how to live out your baptismal calling and are looking for a life-long method to carry you through on your journey–Cursillo may be for you! Active Catholics are invited to use this as a rare opportunity to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience that starts on a Thursday evening and ends on Sunday night. You will be guided step by step through the weekend by a priest, deacon, and a team of cursillistas (those who have already completed a Cursillo); in a place of seclusion and peace; with all of your needs taken care of; in order to explore the deepest meaning and purpose of life. Many Catholics finish their Cursillo weekend inspired to make changes, tweak their priorities, and journey deeper into the mystery of life. So, if you are ready for a meaningful encounter with yourself, with others, and with God, then contact Charlie Fulks for a brochure and an application.
